There was a time when my weekends started before I even opened my eyes properly – and I was already on my phone. 📲 Insta, Messenger, TikTok, a bit of news – and before I knew it, 30–40 minutes were gone. ⏳ Along with my morning energy. 🌞
Then one day, I tried something that seemed ridiculously simple at first:
I don’t touch my phone after waking up. Only after breakfast. 🥐☕
At first, it felt weird. My hand reached for it automatically, but I told myself: “Me first. Then the world.” 🌍
And here’s what happened:
– My mornings became calmer. 😌
– I no longer fall apart before 9am. 🧩
– And the wildest part: I actually felt like doing what I planned the day before. 📅
Before this, I often realized that after a morning scrolling session, I had already lost motivation – even for the things I was super excited about the night before. 🤔
Now, my days start with clarity and focus. ✨
And yes – my days became more productive. 💪
If you also feel like your phone sucks you in the moment you wake up, try this. It might be that one small trick that gives your mornings (and your energy) back. 🎯
And you’ll see how much those conscious choices can change.
